Study Space Policy

  • Study spaces are intended for the academic use of currently registered Sheridan students.
  • Group study rooms will be available with a specified capacity.
  • Spaces may be booked for a maximum of three hours at one time and only one booking per day is allowed for the same student or group.
  • Rooms must be booked online by a student intending to use the space themselves.
  • If you are more than ten minutes late to claim a space, your booking is no longer valid and the space can be used by others.
  • Personal property should not be left unattended in the room or study space. Sheridan staff are not responsible for lost items.
  • After use, A/V equipment should be turned off.
  • Everyone at Sheridan has a shared responsibility for keeping the campus a healthy and safe environment.
    • Wiping down surfaces before and after each use is one of the ways to protect against the spread of COVID-19.
    • Using the wipes available on campus, please clean the workspaces before and after use and remove any waste.
  • Food or beverages are not permitted in the study rooms or spaces.

Learning Commons staff will cancel any bookings that violate any conditions of these Study Space policies or the Sheridan Student Code of Conduct. Security may remove any students who violate Study Space policies.
